All the tableware she makes are thin. She only makes her ceramics in two colors, white and black. I like the black ones because they are mat meanwhile the white ones are glazed. She makes it on a wheel so each of them is little bit different in size and shapes. It looks best when you put vegetables on it.

For example plum three for early spring, cherry blossoms also for spring, maple leaf for autumn, Camellia japonica for winter and much more. Since changing tableware is sometimes a hassle most Japanese don’t do it any more…
His glasses are not clear they are bit cloudy since he lives in Kanazawa where the weather is gloomy all year around. The little dot is made of beads, you can see little holes if you look at them closely. Since he makes each of them by hand they are never identical.
